Hello friend, welcome back to a biz tip Thursday episode of the purpose and pixie dust podcast. How are you? I am here to bring you some quick tips per usual for our Thursday episodes. So, um one thing that we're doing in my membership this week, which this isn't airing for a few weeks afterward, but one thing that we're doing in my membership is focusing on, so let me backtrack a little bit in the membership, the dare to shine magical membership for women entrepreneurs. We have accountability challenges every month and they vary, so one might be, we did a Facebook live challenge, we did a connections challenge we've done, oh gosh um content challenge, we did a lead magnet in a freebie challenge. Like just literally all sorts of things throughout the year. And so this month I'm currently recording this in September. We did a fall back to basics with your business challenge, which my whole thing, if you have been with me for any amount of time is that you build your, your business with three CS creating really quality content, having amazing connections with people and consistency, like everything boils down to that. I don't think you need a fancy website and all the things like those are really great to help you scale, but really the core basics if you want to build a business and you want it to be sustainable no matter what online business you have, you have to be creating content that is branded to you, speaking to your, your ideal clients is solving their pain points is educational or entertaining. You know, all those things that we talk about content and I have some really awesome episodes, deep diving into these three CS. Um they've been back awhile so you're gonna have to scroll and find them.
But but I dive in, I remember recording them actually, I think they were car talks like this, this one was, but I remember really deep diving into them because they're so, so important. So we are focusing on those three things this week. So we are holding each other accountable for at least five new connections and five current connections with people that you either really want to work with who are already in your network or your current clients, you're just checking in, you're talking with them, you're getting to know them on a human level because that's the thing guys, connections don't get in your mind about this, it doesn't have to be weird by my stuff reaching out with the intention of converting people like that's never the intention like it is to legitimately get to know people like how are we even going to know if you want them to be your client, if you don't know them. Right?
So connections with people, we are doing that every day, Monday through Friday and then we are creating a quality piece of content and the content is tying back into our brand pillars, it is answering an objection from clients that maybe is a common objection that we hear a lot or is educating about something that we sell, but we're really getting intentional about doing that and then obviously the consistency of working the business daily. Now for me when I was growing it, um my network marketing business to the very top, it meant a daily, what I called a power hour or just working time, you don't have to even call it a power hour, but it was daily time devoted to working to my business and I had a checklist and you can download the checklist guys, this is the exact checklist that I used to get my business to where it got and it is on my website, very top of my website. When you go to https://www.lindsaydollinger.com. Um it's right there at the top. It's just like grab my like daily business or something like that.
Anyway, so like that consistency of working your business every day of showing up, that's really all it is. And I find so many times when I'm working with people that them not building or scaling or getting to where they want to be as quickly as they want to be or you know, maybe they're attracting the wrong kind of people, whatever it is, it usually boils down to the fact that they're not doing one of those seas or maybe it's two of those seeds or maybe it's all three of the seas, but they're either not connecting with people or they're not connecting in the right way with people or not creating good quality content or maybe not creating content at all. Um I was looking at someone's Facebook profile when I was doing an audit for them and every post on, it was something that they shared from someone else's wall and I'm like girlfriend, like what is this mess, this hot mess right now going on, which is fine because you don't know better if you don't know and that's what I'm here to help you with and guide you with is okay, What does it mean to have good quality content, what does it mean to create a personal brand? What does it mean to create content that my ideal client wants. You know, if you don't know, that's when you get to educate yourself, you get to work with me more, you get to join my membership or you get to Youtube and google university.
I was listening to another coach's training and it was such a good reminder because she was saying, you know, people who work with me, clients who work with me essentially are collapsing time and when I heard that, that's kind of something that's thrown around a little bit in the coaching industry and when I heard that for the first time, I remember thinking like you can't collapse time but what she means by that is you know, if you google it or if you youtube or you're trying to teach yourself something. Usually it takes a lot longer than if you are working one on one with someone who is at least one step ahead of you and they can say, okay, I'm looking at this from a bird's eye view, a 30,000 ft view and I can see exactly this, this, this, this, this aren't adding up or this could be tweaked, you could do this, you could do this and that's kinda like my specialty when I work with my clients, it's one of my favorite things.
I love working one on one with people. But you know What I was getting at with that is nine times out of 10, you are not doing one, at least one of those three things and you're not doing it regularly or you're not doing it to the extent that you could be to be getting those results that I know you can get. So your best tip for today is those three CS, we're going back to the basics, we're going back to the three CS, content connections, consistency, do that daily, show up daily. You know, if you're used to doing maybe already really used to doing connections and you do five a day, but you're not at your, sorry, this part of the roads really loud. Okay, that's better. You're not at your business goals. Okay, well then we're going to do 10 connections a day, right? And I have an episode on connections as well. It's another one that's pretty juicy because a lot of people don't know how to do connections, don't know how to do them well or are like, okay, I've talked to everyone in my Facebook friends list, which is 100 people now, what do I do? So that's another thing that's hopefully as you've been listening to podcast episodes or you can go back to past podcast episodes. I have a lot of really good trainings on that too. So your challenge. Again, the three CS, content connections and consistency, let's do these this week. Let's see what kind of results you can get for your business and then keep that momentum going. Don't take your foot off the gas just as you're getting started and just as you're getting back to those basics, let's keep it going and let's see what those basics can do for you friend.
