Let's talk about the importance of self-love and how it can help you create the life and business of your dreams.
One of the key aspects of self-love is taking care of your physical well-being. It's important to move your body and find joy in physical activity. Whether it's a Peloton ride, a walk in nature, or simple stretches, find what works for you and make it a priority. Drinking enough water is also crucial for your overall well-being. It keeps your body hydrated and your skin glowing. And don't forget the importance of quality sleep. Getting enough rest allows you to show up as your best self.
To truly embrace self-love, you...

Are you new to somatics and what working with your body (instead of against it) can allow you to do in your life? We all know that when are in alignment and feel GOOD, our businesses reflect that. In my conversation with Kyla today, we dive into what somatics are, her journey as a somatics practitioner, and how releasing our emotions can truly transform our lives.

Kyla's evolution from a personal trainer to an empowerment coach is a testament to the power of self-discovery and following one's true calling. Hailing from the beautiful Vancouver Island, Kyla's initial love for fitness and connecting with people led her to a successful 15-year career in personal training. However, beneath the surface of this seemingly fulfilling path, she sensed a deeper calling—one that transcended the physical aspects of fitness and delved into...
I'm thrilled to announce the official sponsor of the Purpose & Pixie Dust Podcast, Bellabling Shop by Courtnay!
Courtnay Dollinger is my younger sister, in case you didn't know! She wanted a hobby during the pandemic when she was also finishing grad school, and she also has a love for Disney, so she started making Disney-inspired earrings. She wore the jewelry she made, and her friends started noticing and asking where she got them. Everyone was so impressed she designed and made them! This gave Courtnay a big idea: why not turn this into a business? That's how Bellabling Shop started!
(The name of the shop was inspired by our dog, Bella! Here's here in the picture with me at Christmas.)
But Courtnay didn't just stick to earrings. Once she started figuring out how to design even more, she wanted to make clothes that everyone could enjoy. She loves wearing Disney designs but found so many weren't size inclusive. So, she created a clothing line...
No matter how you want to look at it--good, quality social media can make or break your business GROWTH. Not your business. I do think in a perfect world you can have a great business and do nothing online. However, I think it's a lot EASIER and QUICKER if you can implement some social media strategies as soon as you can in your business to see results sooner. That's what we dive into on the Purpose and Pixie Dust Podcast episode, "Learn the Social Media Basics to Increase Sales Now".

Hey there! Welcome back to The Purpose and Pixie Dust Blog...
Collaboration with other entrepreneurs, brands and influencers can be a great way to get in front of new audiences. Here are six ways you may not already be participating in collabs that you could add to your visibility strategy in your business this year!
Have you been a guest on podcasts yet? I love podcast guesting! Find podcasts you already listen to and love that you could give value to, and reach out the host. Make it about them and their audience. What can you share? Once you go through podcasts you already know and love, start branching out to other podcasters in your niche that you can add value to.
Pitch yourself/apply to participate in an online summit or bundle opportunity that makes sense for your niche and audience. If you are in any collaboration groups on Facebook, lots of times people will put out calls for applications. Some groups I am in to find collaborations include:
Get clear on how much you're bringing in and how much is going out in your business. I like a Google Spreadsheet to keep track of my business expenses (that I then use for my tax expenses). Set time to review it every week or month.
I like hourly time blocking! I list out everything I HAVE to do--in my day job, my business, my appointments, my workouts etc. If it's not planned in, it's not happening most likely OR it will take me way longer to do it because it's not planned in. Find a system that works for you. If you haven't checked out my free training on getting back 5 hours in your week now, grab it here.

In no particular order, here are the the things I would do in my business if I were starting over from zero: no followers, no business, no clue what I was doing.
--Intentional social media and in person networking
--An hour a day minimum to work on/in my business
--Find an accountability partner to check in with, maybe cowork with once a week
--Do free trainings/value in groups, on my page, everywhere
--Make a collab list of 20 people and interact with them weekly to build repertoire.
--Join a Mastermind and hire a coach for occasional 1-1 strategy calls
--Promote ONE thing
--Not over complicate things
--Podcast and personal development daily
--Prioritize sleep, movement and nutrition

I'm focusing on learning all the things, being present, doing the tasks. This might mean scheduling in times to listen to the replay and finding another member to do them with me. I will utilize all the resources included, too!
It's a priority of mine the beginning of 2024 to commit to this Summit: Making it awesome, growing my email list, getting VIP sales; Intentional collaborations and networking with the attendees and the speakers.
For me, this is Reels, Videos, Stories, Pinterest; batching and repurposing. To help me with Pinterest, I bought Tara's PinPerks course...
