Hello friend, Welcome back to a Purpose and Pixie Dust podcast, Biz Tip Thursday! Lindsay Dollinger here in the car driving home from work like usual for these episodes, I'm actually recording this the day before I am leaving to head to Walt Disney world for marathon weekend. So, if you have been following this show for a while, you have heard me talk about my training and it is all coming to a head and by the time you are listening to this, the race will be done. So hopefully I completed that race. Um that's what's going on with me right now, kind of a lot of things, I just got home from Madrid, Spain, for a week. I had an amazing trip um right before that was the holidays, I got a stomach bug. So it has been a time over here. I am just now actually feeling like myself today for the first time in a couple of weeks, which is really hopeful for marathon weekend, but that's kind of what's going on and going on with me and last night I had my first meeting and my new mastermind that I'm in. So one of the things that came up for me out of that and I always like to share, you know, my journey because we are on this journey together, I don't like to ever think of it as though I've already achieved success and I like my journey is over or it has stopped, I don't think that at all. Um I like to think of us as biz besties going through this process together and I might be a step ahead of you and something or a couple steps ahead of you, heck you might even be a step ahead of me and something and so I always just really like to share for those of you who might be new to this podcast.
Welcome, but I just want to share kind of my mentality around why I share what I'm currently going through my business, so how do I master my call last night, totally love it again, if you have been around me for any amount of time, you know that I think that that community, those connections, working with a coach and a mentor is basically just like a non negotiable in my business and really I think in any business that you are in to achieve those optimal Results um and there's lots of reasons for that, that's not really the purpose of this podcast today, but I wanted to talk about what to do now that you have hopefully started really thinking about your goals and what you want to achieve in 20213 and beyond because you know that's kind of the whole point of this, right? As Making sure that everything that we are doing right now is connecting to our larger purpose, our larger mission in our business and in our life. So whether you are listening to this was a health and fitness goal, a business goal or 10, a work goal, relationship goal, anything that you have in your heart that you are wanting to achieve the first step to doing that is simplifying what that is going to look like. So this can be getting impact or impact, getting input from other people, but also just asking yourself okay, what are some steps and it doesn't need to be all of them because we learn this as we go along right and as we're, as we're listening to podcasts like this one or as we are engaging in trainings or mentors are accountability buddies, we're adding, going to constantly be adding things to this list as stepping stones and things that we can do to achieve our goal. So I'm going to just give you an example number. So One of my goals is to increase the number of clients in my magical membership for women entrepreneurs, because it's a freaking amazing program. I don't talk about it enough, and I'm definitely going to be talking about it way more in 2023 because I have seen first hand that impact on the results that women can get from this, you know, from the trainings that I provide, that the guest speakers provide from that true accountability and from the community that has been built in this membership, so just give you, I'm just gonna make it really easy to give you an example.
I would love to have 100 new members in the magical membership for women entrepreneurs this year. Okay, so I write this down and I'm looking at this piece of paper and now I'm like, okay, how am I going to do that? What is this next step? And I always heard someone say this years ago and I really like this mentality because there's so many times and I was reminded this last night on my mastermind call, there's so many things that we already know, even if they're like deep down inside of us, but we've heard them before, or we have kind of this gut feeling or you have learned through watching other people do it. But you already know so much of what you already could be doing to achieve these goals. It's just we're not doing them for one reason or another. So a question I like to ask myself is okay if I were to achieve this goal and I am going to achieve it, what are all the possible ways that I could do that? How could I do that? And then just brain dumping all the list of things that you could possibly do in order to increase that number. And these can be really specific things like sending an email out to my email list every week so that I have that credibility and people know that I'm knowledgeable and I would like to invest money with me. This could be a weekly sales post. This could be talking to more people in the D. M. This could be a free monthly training that I lied. You know, I have an offer at the end of the training and that offer is my membership. This could be increasing and really working on my affiliate affiliate. I can't talk Today affiliate program with the women who are already in my membership. Like, hey, if you get someone to join, I'm going to give you this X. Y. Z. Which I already do have a pretty seller affiliate program. F. Y. I. So you could earn a lot of money just by referring people into that into my membership if you're already in it, I digress.
So those are the sorts of things that I would be writing on my paper for that specific goal. So I would love for you to take your goals, your intentions, whatever you call them, everyone calls them different things. I really do love the word intentions because I feel like it puts a little bit more purpose and meaning like maybe they're actually going to get done. But you know those things that you are reaching for first quarter, 20, heck even 20, and beyond like and break it down. Let's make it simpler and the further we can break it down the feather so that eventually we are going to be walking away from this planning session with a solid list of steps that are very clear on what we could be doing to move our business forward now, especially if you're just starting out, you're not going to necessarily know all of these things. Right? Me listing those things out comes from years of mentorship courses, coaches, watching other people and what they're doing in their business. Like it's not necessarily all going to just come to you. And, and that's where I say, having a coach being in a membership like mine, having an accountability partner watching training, different things like that will really help you with this. Um, but you know, regardless of your goals, you know, a few of the things anyway that are things that you could be doing to, to, you know, put put your first step toward reaching that goal and if you don't guess what, there's this amazing thing called google and YouTube and podcasts, you can't search literally any topic and read up on it or watch a few trainings on it and at least get an idea of something that you could be doing, especially if you're not quite ready to invest in yourself yet, which is totally fine, but I do want to put a shameless plug in here that if you would like some more help and support with this, if you would like to be in the container with me which is the Magical Membership for Women Entrepreneurs, it's only $49 a month, you can cancel it at any time or you can get a whole year for 40 or 497 so for $497, you pay up front, you get 12 months and we do a monthly coaching session. Um Gosh, what else? We do some sort of a challenge every month and then I do a training and then there's a guest training in there and you also get access to all of The other trainings for the last Gosh, the membership started in December 2021. So you get access to all of the past recordings as well. So it's so, so worth it. I would love to invite you to join us in this for 2023 so that we can really go together hand in hand and know what those next steps are and have that accountability and support to be able to do that because the results when you are willing to go all in on your goals, your dreams, your mission, you want to create that massive impact. You want that flexibility and that freedom and the more income for your family when you go all in and that you can create some massive, massive results. So let's do this together, let's make it simple, Break it down into those baby steps, break it down even further. Those are your tasks and just really simplify it. Like doesn't it sound so much simpler when I when I put it that way, instead of being like, okay, let's talk about our goals and how we're going to achieve them. And you know, it just takes I feel like the pressure off when you just make it super, super simple.
