Yeah. Mm. Hi friend. Welcome to the social selling sisterhood podcast. I am Lindsay Dellinger and I have many titles. High school spanish, teacher, dog mom, world traveler and direct seller. I empower women to run your direct sales business is the right way. So you can earn the money. You deserve to live the life of your dreams and travel the world. Now we got that out of the way. Let's get started. Hello. Hello. Welcome back to the social selling sisterhood podcast. My name is Lindsay Dollinger and I am the host of this show. You can find all sorts of resources free these, you can get access to my direct sales done, right planner and track your system and training that goes along with it. And um my network marketing course all at www dot Lindsay Dollinger dot com. The link is in the show notes. If you've never found me over there, please connect with me there or anywhere on social. So I just wanted to put that plug in because I normally do it at the end. But I feel like a lot of people probably turn the podcast off when I'm done delivering the actual content. So I wanted to be sure that you knew where to find me some more. So anyway, today, this is our quick tip thursday episode and I just got back from an amazing trip to Hawaii, I had never been before, so I just crossed my 47th, yeah, 47th ST off my list on my way to visiting all 50. Um it was so funny, my family and I, we were going to go to Alaska, so it was like a complete like 3 60 type of vacation but it was absolutely amazing. Um so I am playing catch up with matching a lot of episodes. I actually batch the entire month of june podcast episodes back in May, which matching is one of the time management and productivity tips that I love to uh encourage you to do is to batch your content out because let me tell you friend, I was like completely unplugged from my business and my business kept going and I was still providing um content for all of you guys and you probably didn't even notice that I was on vacation. So I have another episode. I believe it was a visited thursday episode as well about how to prepare for time off from your business or vacation. So definitely give that a check. But anyway, so I am back from my vacay. I am actually driving to the store where I got a dress for a conference and they left the electronic like security tag on. So I am driving back thankfully I tried it on again last night to start packing for the conference and yeah it was still on there, so that's what I'm doing right now. So I'm driving, I'm thinking about my business. Um if you follow me on social you have probably seen that I have pivoted my business but not really so much my brand, which is why having a strong personal brand is so important because if you have a strong personal brand um you know you can do really anything that you want to do. So part of my brand has always been focused on health and fitness. It is something that has been really important to me and lots of different aspects like I love to be active. Actually started my network marketing career as um a Beachbody coach. I'm no longer affiliated with them, but I was a Beachbody coach. That's how I first got into the industry. Absolutely. Uh obviously fell in love with network marketing And I was a power lifter in high school. My mom passed away from breast cancer in 2015. So cleaning up my lifestyle, the products that I use eating healthier, all those sorts of things have always been, you know, really important to me. So I have peppered that in my brands through the years, which is allowed for a really nice transition into me promoting a nutrition supplement company now. So I'm doing that and as I am building from the ground up again, which is such an interesting process because it can be really easy as you progress in your network marketing and direct sales career to forget what it is like to be a beginner again, to start literally from scratch. And you have, especially if you're starting again, you probably have the skills or some of the skills needed to grow to grow a successful business maybe even a lot quicker than you did previously. Um If you had no experience, but it can be really humbling and one of the things that has been coming to me lately that I have found coming up and that you know, maybe I like I find myself getting a lot of customers in like a, you know, a swoop and then it's kind of like a little dry spell and My dry spell is because I was just on vacation for 10 days completely unplugged and then a couple days, you know like recouping. Um but my question that I find myself asking myself, I find myself asking myself that doesn't really make sense. But I find myself asking is um you know, when is the last time you asked someone to join your business, join your team, try your products because we can post and share on our news feed and our stories and in groups. But until we are reaching out and making connections with people and really just asking the question and putting that bugging people's ear. You know, it's not, it's way more likely that people are going to respond to you. When you ask then just coming to you out of the blue. So that's kind of what I want you to reflect on today as you're listening to. This is once the last time you asked just a simple ask you, have you ever considered trying X. Y. Z. Have you ever considered doing what I do? Would you like more information about blah, blah, blah? I mean obviously there, you know, there's a little bit of a build up that comes to that you don't just want to send someone that message out of the blue. But this can be a great question that comes up from people answering polls in your stories or even just from having conversations with people. And they might mention, you know, that they need more energy. Well, that's one of the things that my product provides and it works super nicely again with my brand because not only am I really passionate about health and fitness, um but also I work with women entrepreneurs and we are exhausted, right? We are usually putting ourselves last and so it can be a great conversation starter for me when I'm talking even to all of you is, you know, well, one of the reasons I started even trying this product that I've been using since january is because I was feeling the burn out. I was feeling tired and I want to have the energy to work my business, but I also want to have the energy to to have my personal life and to be like, feel really hole and good about that. Um so, you know, again, these don't come up, these questions don't come up through cold messaging, but it comes up through actually getting to know your audience and talking to those people. So when you're looking at your trailer board, you know, we talk about our Crm, our customer relationship management systems. Um and if you're in the social selling sisterhood facebook group that I were on, that's a completely free group. So, again, the link is in the show notes, it's it's in my link tree, um links, but if you head over there, you should find somewhere in there. I did a training on how I use Tremolo as my Crm and I show you how I have a list of potential customers and customers and how I move them through. And I actually, there should be a template in there where you can click and get the free template so you can make your own. But I know one of the things that I get to do this week, and one of the things that I would challenge you to do is get out that list of potential customers and current customers even and start asking those questions, start connecting with them and when appropriate, when it feels right and not icky and not spammy. Just simply ask, you know, I have a sample with your name on it. Would you like it? Uh I would love to hook you up with X, Y, Z. You know, you might not like this product, but if you're having trouble sleeping at night, you might really like this product. We have called rest because I use it um most nights and I sleep like a baby. So as long as you're providing value, as long as you're coming from a place of good intention and you legitimately believe that the person can benefit from your product or service, there is no reason that you shouldn't be connecting and reaching out um and offering that solution to your people. So when's the last time you asked? And if you have asked recently, go back and look at your conversation. Did you ask from a place of being genuine? Did you ask from a place of not being spammy? And if you were spamming, send them a message and apologize like, hey, I know that was really picky of me to send that. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I'm just really trying to get my business up and going and I'm learning and you know, I have definitely sent those messages to people when I've looked back from especially my beach body days because guys, it can be hard to promote health, especially the health and fitness company because people get really defensive when you reach out like what do you think I'm fat? You're like, no, that's totally not it, but we're excited, right? And we love our products and um so it can be tricky for sure. But if you are coming from a good place, if you have made relationships with people, if you are posting and sharing your story and your journey along the way, um I think you're going to find that this feels a lot more natural and that you get a lot better results. So go through your customer list, see who you have asked recently, who you haven't and start start those connections so that you can ask those questions. Because if you're not asking chances are people aren't going to reach out to you. Okay. And we want you to build your business as quickly as you can so that you can reap all the benefits of the amazing comp plan that you are partnered with. Alright friend, I hope you found this helpful again. Find me over on Lindsay Dollinger dot com or my link tree is down below forward slash Lindsay Dollinger after the link tree part. Um But you can just click on the links in the show notes and um if you got any sort of value out of this at all, I know it's a short quick biz tip but hopefully you did if you would screenshot this and share this in your stories and tag me, I would definitely give you a re share so that I can share my audience with you and she was with a teammate. Uh maybe this is your your passive way to be like, hey, have you talked to anyone lately? Right? Because um, you know, it can be something that we don't even realize that we're skipping until we're like, oh, I'm not getting results for my business. Oh, I should probably be asking a little bit more than I am. All right. I hope you found this helpful friend and I will talk to you on our next episode. But by
